Lately we, the CC staff, have become very dissatisfied with the state the forums are in, and we've decided to close them temporarily in order to fix this.
When CC comes back, we'll be running on a new (and greatly improved) version of the forum software and we're really going to try to clean up the atmosphere this time.
Don't ask when it will be back, we can't tell you. We do intend to let everyone know when it's back.
As for why we're doing this, here are quotes from the three admins explaining our positions.
MSC:"CC basically has been Sonic'd. Rather than being retarded like SEGA and continuing a shitty franchise as if we thought it was still good, or being retarded like America and thinking we still have the status we did when we won World War II, we need to stop what we're doing and turn around entirely. What we've been doing so far with our staff meetings is like a person who thinks he can get rid of a virus just by rebooting enough times. We need a total system reformat, and we have to shut down what we're currently doing to do that. That's why I completely support the idea of shutting CC down temporarily."
UCM:"We've promised countless times to fix things, and nothing ever gets done. Now, it's gotten to the point where in order to fix it, we need to completely close it for a while. We will be back, I can't promise when, but we will. Don't be upset, be happy, we're doing what you've asked us to do forever."
LC:"You bitched about us fixing CC, so don't bitch about us finally getting around to do it."
